About the course
FSKA is the biggest club for armed martial arts in Sweden and has been teaching Tendo-ryu continuously since 2016. We welcome new beginners once a year and follow a traditional approach to training. No prior experience is necessary, and all equipment is provided. New students may attend up to three introductory sessions free of charge.
Your main Instructor
Jakob Ryngen
The head instructor has trained in Tendo-ryu since 2001 under some of the art’s most distinguished sensei. He is also a board member of Bitokukai – an organisation devoted to the development and preservation of Tendo-ryu. In addition, he has practiced sport naginata since 1993 and has competed in several World Championships.
